About us

The Winery name comes from the term "One piò" ,a measurement used by local farmers within the Brescia Province of Northern Italy. One piò represents “1/3 of a hectare”, dimension of the Winery itself.
Onepiò is a Winery that combines the modern architectonic lines to the farm life tradition.

About the owner

The owner of this reality is Ilaria Accordini, a wine producer raised between the family’s vines and a businesswoman with an incredible passion for wine that has developed management techniques thanks to years of international trips.


Onepiò Winery produces wine in two micro zones: Lugana and Valpolicella Classica.
The vineyards are cultivated traditionally, specifically 30 hectares in Lugana and 3 hectares in Valpolicella Classica. Two different regions, two of the smallest italian microzones with similar characteristics: mild climate,not very cold winters and warm summers. This lets the mature grapes to have an higher sugar extract during the harvest and a good dry extract in order to obtain structured and long-lasting wines.


Onepiò Winery philosophy is based on different factors coordinated amongst themselves as the choice of the best vine plants and the gentle care of the vineyard, the delicate harvest by hand, but also the patient drying of the grapes and the elegant wine aging in french barriques. Finally the bottling of the final product represents the perfect combination between colors and tradition perfumes and the exclusive packaging.

Onepiò Winery gives you the opportunity to taste limited production high-quality wines:


Emotional white wine with citrus and almond aromas, soft and balanced.
It is recommended for aperitifs, drinkable with fresh cheeses, black truffle receipts, seafood and white meat.
Service temperature: 48-50° fahrenheit.


Cabernet Sauvignon IGT Veneto, red wine with intense personality and ripe fruit aromas.
It is recommended as musing wine, perfect with red meats, seasoned cheeses and dark chocolate. Open one hour before serving.
Service temperature: 60-64° fahrenheit degrees.


Valpolicella Ripasso DOC Classico Superiore is recommended with salami, seasoned and fresh cheeses receipts.
It is perfectly combined with game and red meat. Open one hour before serving.
Service temperature: 60-64° fahrenheit degrees.


Amarone della Valpolicella DOC Classico is well known as full bodied wine with intense spicy aromas.
It is recommended to drink Amarone della Valpolicella DOC classico with red meats, seasoned cheeses and dark chocolate. Open two hours before serving.
Service Temperature: 60-64° Fahrenheit degrees.



The 2017 grape harvest in Lugana presented astonishing outcomes.
We can confirm that the grape quality in each vineyard has been on average: peaks of sugar residue/content in certain plots, as well as a good balance of total acidity in all cultivated hectares during the entire harvest, from start to finish.
The first harvest days took place toward the end of August, which is peculiar for the Turbiana grape, but it was expected given the extremely hot summer.


We can consider the 2017 grape harvest in Valpolicella as one of the greatest years ever.
The high summer temperatures have brought to a speedier ripening of the grapes, compared to the average values of the previous years:
the harvest was anticipated by at least 15 days. Excellent balance between sugar percentage and total acidity.

Lugana zone is mainly plain, characterized by fertile layers of morainic and sedimentary clays oil, mostly calcareous, rich in mineral salts. It’s a difficult terrain because hard and compact in dry weather, boggy when it rains.
These belts of stratified clay, which become sandy as the DOC terrain rises, actually store the organoleptic heritage of the Lugana, conferring distinctive notes of almonds and citrus, and condition the body,the warmth, the acidity and the tanginess of wine.
This zone is valued by the location where it is situated.
Here sharp changes between in temperature night and day are limitated. This thanks to the presence of Garda Lake that embraces the micro-zone and influences it positively with temperate breezes.
Here it grows the vine variety Turbiana, noble and ancient vine variety, capable of producing a white rich in undertones and personality.


Valpolicella Classica, in particular Fumane, the most ancient original zone of Valpolicella where there’re the three hectares of vineyard worked by Onepiò Winery, is situated in the east part of Garda lake, few kilometers from the centre of Verona.
This micro-zone, one of the smallest in the world, includes five historical boroughs: Fumane, Marano di Valpolicella, Negrar, San Pietro in Cariano e Sant’Ambrogio di Valpolicella.
Here the precious protection from the Lessini mountains and the mild breezes from Garda Lake create a sort of natural amphitheatre, a nurturing environment for our vines.
These natural elements have established our terrain, rewarding us a strong potential to craft beautiful wine.
In fact the worked lands in Fumane borough are characterized by a good calcareous concentration. The hill slopes offer an excellent solar exposition for the autochthon Corvina, Corvinoni and Rondinella, cold-resistant vigorous wine varietals with superb enological qualities that favor pebbly and hill terrains.
